offering inclusive, progressive, and enduring recovery programs that

About Us |
B. Riley House was established in 2016. We cater exclusively to members of the LGBTQ+ community and our allies who are looking for a way out of the pain and misery of substance abuse through outside substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health (MH) providers. Our primary purpose is to help members of the LGBTQ+ community achieve long-term sobriety, reduce recidivism in detox centers and treatment centers, and provide continued support to individuals in their recovery journey.
We offer our residents a wide range of services from partial hospitalization programming (PHP), intensive outpatient treatment (IOP), mental health assessment and treatment, and psychotherapy courses in self-acceptance, coming out, transgender issues, etc. B. Riley House gives members of this community the opportunity to be treated by professionals who know from experience the struggles of getting sober and staying sober. |
History |
B. Riley House began in 2016 in a house on Denison Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. Over the years, B. Riley House expanded in number of beds and services offered.
In the summer of 2021, B. Riley House moved into a larger facility located on West 117th Street in Cleveland, Ohio. B. Riley House’s new building was once home to the Freedom House and Ed Keating Center. This expansion allowed us to serve more clients and offer a wider range of services. In the spring of 2023, we expanded our outpatient services into its own dedicated facility located on Detroit Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. Our new outpatient center is home to our clinical services. In the summer of 2023, we continued our expansion by opening our second halfway house and first out of Ohio location in Miami, Florida. This halfway house provides a safe and supportive environment for our clients. Our Florida halfway house is staffed by experienced and compassionate professionals who are dedicated to helping clients succeed. We are committed to providing our clients with the best possible care and support. Our expansion into Florida and beyond allows us to reach more people in need and make a positive impact on their lives. We are proud of our commitment to excellence and our dedication to helping our clients achieve their goals. We look forward to continuing to grow and serve more people in the future. |
