Peer Support Specialist

Starting Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Summary: Work directly with clients to help them address substance abuse and mental health disorders. Work closely with Case Management to assist clients in their everyday functioning. Peer Support Specialist responsibilities include conducting support meetings, developing recovery strategies, and responding to patient emergencies as needed.

Education / Certification Requirements:
·         High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
·         OCPRS certification

Other Requirements:
·         Valid Driver’s License
·         Operable Vehicle with full coverage insurance (mileage reimbursement provided)

Preferred but not Required:
·         Medicaid Billing Number
·         NPI Number
