Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

PHP and IOP offers flexibility to our clients varying schedules who participate in B. Riley House's PHP and IOP programs.  Clients are allowed to maintain prescribed medications (non-opiate and non-amphetamine) while in IOP and are encouraged to seek other outside help with referrals from our case management program.  The use of any psychoactive chemical substances is not allowed with clients receiving IOP  treatment at the B. Riley House. This includes the use of substances off the property of the program and on days clients are not participating in programming.

While in IOP, clients work with the counseling team in both group and one on one therapy sessions.  Consistent attendance to six (6) hours of psychotherapy courses in self acceptance, rejection, coming out issues, internalized homophobia, etc. is required during this process.  The six (6) hour course is broken into one (1) hour a week for six (6) weeks.  Clients are also expected to attend seven (7) 12 step self-help group meetings per week (12 steps groups, either AA, NA, CA, SA, etc.).

Currently our IOP program runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
